Delete your Vamo account

In the app (immediate)

Open Me → Settings → Export or delete my account → Delete my account and confirm. Your account and everything in it are deleted at once. You can export your data first from the same screen.

Without the app

Write to contact@get-vamo.com from the email address you sign in with, with "Delete my account" as the subject. We delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner, and write back once it's done.

What is deleted

• Your account: email or phone number, display name, date of birth, language, home area.
• Everything you did in the app: saves, passes, plans, check-ins, circles and their photos, what the app learned about your tastes, your latest location.
• Your messages in "Going together" chats: the other people see "deleted account" instead.

What is kept

• A record that a deletion happened, made of a one-way code that can't be traced back to you (the law asks us to be able to show we did it).
• Backups roll over within 14 days; after that no copy of your data remains.

Events and places in the agenda aren't personal data and stay.
