Privacy, in plain words
This page summarises how the app treats your data. The full privacy notice is shown in the app the first time you sign in, and again whenever it changes.
What the app keeps
- Your account: an email address or phone number to sign you in, your language, your date of birth (to keep events age-appropriate; nightlife and meeting new people need 18+).
- What you tell the app: your tastes, your budget, how you get around, when you want your daily picks, and the circles you describe (partner, friends, kids as age bands only). All of it is visible and editable under Me.
- What you do in the app: events you passed, saved or went to, check-ins, badges, plans with your circles. This is what makes the next pick better.
- Your location, if you allow it: used to show what's near you and measure travel times. Never shared with other users, never kept as a history.
What it never does
- It never reads your contacts. You describe your people in your own words, and invite them with a link.
- It never infers sensitive things about you (health, religion, politics, sexuality) and never sells your data.
- It never shows ads based on who you are. Sponsored placements are labelled.
- It never runs in the background and never tracks you across other apps or websites. This website sets no cookies.
- Nothing about you is visible to other users by default. "Who else is going" shows only what you chose to share, and only to people you allowed.
Where and how long
Data is stored on servers in the European Union and encrypted in transit. You can export everything or delete your account from Me → Settings; deletion is complete, not a deactivation.
Recommendations use AI
The picks and the short texts in the app are produced with AI from the event facts and from what you told the app. Your data is not used to train AI models.
Your rights
Access, correction, export, deletion, objection: under the GDPR you have them all, and the app makes most of them a single tap. For anything else, write to us.
